June 2018, AUSTRALIA –  Herbalife Nutrition, a premier global nutrition company whose purpose is to make the world healthier and happier, won  industry honours at the Direct Selling Australia (DSA) Awards, held this week in Sydney, with ‘Shake Up Your Breakfast’  receiving  the Best Marketing Campaign award.

Herbalife Nutrition’s ‘Shake Up Your Breakfast’ marketing campaign running August – December 2017 was designed to rejuvenate and revitalize the healthy breakfast philosophy, which has the primary aim of having a balanced- nutrition breakfast each day.

Shobie King, Herbalife Nutrition’s vice president, South East Asia, said the way the campaign highlights the term ‘Healthy Breakfast’ resonates with the public,as many more Australians are recognizing the correlation between eating a healthy breakfast and good health. This trend was employed as the driving force of the campaign.

With 63% of the population in Australia and New Zealand overweight or obese*, there is an increasing spotlight on dietary habits, though to date awareness was lacking that not having breakfast can have  physical and psychological implications. Herbalife Nutrition recognizes the importance of a healthy breakfast and the role it can play to help combat the  issue in society through  this specific marketing campaign.  

The Direct Selling Association Awards are renowned industry awards designed to identify and promote innovations to help companies and their salesforces improve their operations.
